    Mets players go out partying to continue wild celebration after thrilling NLDS clincher

    The celebrations didn’t stop at Citi Field on Wednesday night for the NLCS-bound Mets.

    Second baseman Jose Iglesias took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday to share a video from another lively scene at an apparent nightclub following the Mets’ 4-1 win over the Phillies to close out the NLDS.

    Those inside, which included outfielder Jesse Winker and pitcher Sean Manaea, could be heard singing along to Iglesias’ smash summer single, “OMG,” as the festivities continued after dark.

    Lesser-known Mets deserve spotlight for key contributions in playoff run

    “Well deserved guys keep enjoying,” one fan commented on X.

    “Looks like the Mets are ready to party after that big win! Can’t wait to see them in the NLCS!” another exclaimed.

    Mets fans got a special shoutout from manager Carlos Mendoza as the champagne-fueled celebrations got underway in the clubhouse, where “OMG” could be heard blaring .

    “Francisco Lindor calls it ‘Mets Nation.’ Guess what? We believe, you need to continue to believe — let’s go!” he said as the bubbly started flowing.

    Francisco Lindor was the night’s hero after smashing a grand slam at the bottom of the sixth inning to give the Mets a 4-1 lead.

    “I’m celebrating inside, but at the end of the day the job is not finished,” Lindor said.

    The Mets now have a few days’ rest as they await the winner of the Dodgers-Padres NLDS series out west.

    The Dodgers evened the series at 2-2 on Wednesday with an 8-0 victory .

    The series-deciding Game 5 is set for Friday, while the NLCS begins Sunday with Game 1.
