When Tate is released from custody, he will serve five years of supervised probation with MDOC. Furthermore, he has been given a no-contact order with the victim of his assault.

The Pearl Police Department responded to a call for a welfare check on February 5th, 2024, at the residence where Tate and the victim both lived. When officers arrived at the residence, they observed that the victim had sustained serious injuries that warranted the treatment of paramedics, followed by transport to a hospital for further care.

Tate was arrested after an investigation for aggravated domestic violence.
