The featured film is Shrek Forever After, a 2010 animated fantasy-comedy that’s perfect for all ages. </p><p> Here is the remaining schedule for Movies Under the Stars for October… </p><ul><li> Friday, Oct. 11 – Shrek Forever After&nbsp;– Mallard Junction Park, 599 August St., Lake Charles. </li><li> Friday, Oct. 18 – IF- Bulber Auditorium, 4205 McNeese St., Lake Charles. </li><li> Friday, Oct. 25 – The Princess and the Frog – River Bluff Park, 543 Theriot Road, Moss Bluff. </li></ul><p> In Shrek Forever After, Shrek longs for the days when he was a real ogre. After being tricked into signing a contract with Rumpelstiltskin, he finds himself in an alternate world where ogres are hunted, and he and Fiona have never met. Shrek must find a way to break the contract and get his life back on track. The movie is rated PG, making it a family-friendly pick. </p><p> The movie will start at 6:30 p.m. at Mallard Junction Park, located at 599 August St., Lake Charles. To get the best spots, it’s a good idea to arrive early. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy free popcorn and cotton candy.
