As we all proclaimed, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is on fire this season. And two of my favorite housewives are the reason for the heat. Lisa Barlow and Angie Katsanevas are the perfect fit for reality TV. Both are over the top when it comes to their dramatics, smart as whips, and relatable. So, it always struck me as weird that the two never seemed to find the right footing for a friendship. I think if the two took a moment to chat, they would see that they have a lot more in common and would make a perfect dynamic duo.

The two dark-haired sirens are not always cast in the best of lights. Season 5 has shown Angie as a bit of a gossip . Even though she is just trying to be a good friend to Britani Bateman , spilling tea that came from her brow girl wasn’t exactly the best look. During her freshman season, Angie stepped on a few toes (cough, Meredith Marks , cough), automatically putting her in front of the firing squad. Lisa has always been front and center, and that has been due to her unabashed and loud opinions. As fans and Mary Cosby learned, Lisa does not have a mute button and is “on play all the time.” But this trait quickly finds the Vida Tequila owner in hot water. She oversteps, interrupts, and forgets to ask others about themselves.

So, why don’t they join forces instead of battling one another ? Imagine a true friendship between these two. The other ladies wouldn’t get a word in edge-wise as they would dominate each party conversation and shut down silly rumors. Even Mary wouldn’t be able to make her snide remarks. If Angie and Lisa combined their desire to be heard, they would really present a united front.

Two heads are always better than one. So, if these two powerhouses ever saw eye to eye, they could teach a course on taking over the world. Angie is a well-known hair mogul who owns Lunatic Fringe Salon, which has 10 locations around Utah, Ohio, and Idaho. Since she was 21, she has worked her way up as a hairdresser and garnered quite a name for herself. Lisa, as we all know, is a hustler. Lisa is a serial entrepreneur who owns various businesses, such as Vida Tequila . Both women are innovators and creators who could draw inspiration from one another.

This very idea of this pair is why a friendship between the two would be a perfect match. Neither are they about braiding hair or talking about boys; they want to own Utah. They could bounce ideas off one another and lead by example. While it is fun to tune into the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City to watch the catfights, there is also something to be said about seeing successful women thrive. Together, Lisa and Angie could show viewers how it’s done. The show of a united front could also help both their businesses grow even more, expanding their empires.

Angie Katsanevas is hopeful for the future

Recently, Angie spoke with Us Weekly , hinting that she hopes to grow her relationship with Lisa. Bravo viewers are hoping to see the two mend their relationship. Angie opened up to the outlet, sharing, “You know, I’m always hopeful. We have history. I think I invested a lot of time in the friendship. She invested a lot of time in the friendship.” The spark of positive affirmation had Angie thinking as she added, “And you know, I guess we have to just wait and see you know how things go at the reunion. I haven’t really seen her much and um … last time I saw her, it was a positive interaction … in person.”

The self-proclaimed Greek goddess concluded, “And some strange things have happened since, but I’ll see her at the reunion, and hopefully, we can just talk it through.” Angie is right; strange things have happened, like her becoming close friends with Mary. But Lisa is a hard nut to crack and isn’t always the quickest to forgive. But the Wendy’s lover judges people differently, so I have hope they will figure it all out by the time the reunion rolls around.
