Spooky season is finally here, and what better way to kick off a season dedicated to screams and Halloween scenes than by diving into the most haunted place in all of Nebraska?

Wether it be an old cemetery, abandoned asylum, haunted house, or horror movie scene, something about the most haunted place in Nebraska is so disturbing that it landed on a list of the absolute creepiest places to visit across America.

If you've been looking for a haunted site to visit with your friends and family this spooky season, look no further than this bone-chilling location.

According to a list compiled by Thrillist , the most haunted place in Nebraska is Seven Sisters Road . This spooky location is the murder site of seven sisters by their father over a century ago.

Here's what Thrillist had to say about the most haunted site in all of Nebraska:

"We all get mad at our family members. Most of us get over it and just get them crappy Christmas presents. We do NOT, however, take all seven of our daughters out to separate hills and kill them, as one deranged Nebraska man did over a century ago. The road that runs between the site of each gruesome crime is marked as County Road L on the map, but colloquially, it’s named after the sisters who died there. Cars driving through routinely report headlights going dim, or electrical systems failing completely, leaving their cars stalled in the eerie darkness, with the screams of young women echoing through the hills."
