Cowboys Star CeeDee Lamb Clears Air on Sideline Exchange With Dak Prescott

CeeDee Lamb cleared the air over his viral sideline exchange with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Late in first half, Prescott looked Lamb's way but tossed it right into the waiting arms of Steelers defensive back Donte Jackson. It was Prescott's second red-zone turnover of the first half.

After the play, the NBC cameras spotted Lamb yelling toward Prescott, who had his head down and didn't acknowledge his No. 1 wide receiver.

"Something is wrong. You see Lamb at the end of that. I'll let you read your own lips," NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth said . "Dak doesn't react at all. It doesn't look good."

Lamb clarified on Thursday that he wasn't upset with his quarterback but instead was giving Prescott instructions.

"Jump balls, Four. Jump balls and I got you," Lamb said .

Lamb finished the matchup with five catches for 62 yards. He was not in the mix much during the second half, which he wants to change.

“What happens is we pop off early on, and obviously, no one wants to see that for the second half of the game. So they do a great job of making halftime adjustments," Lamb said. "It’s cool. I got to find different ways to be effective in the game. I understand that. And I will. When my time comes, best believe it’s gonna be big."

Lamb signed a $136 million, four-year contract extension with the Cowboys at the start of the year. He has 25 grabs for 378 yards with a pair of touchdowns through five games.
