NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating after two masked men attacked a man inside a Manhattan subway station early Thursday morning, officials said.

It happened inside the Bleecker Street station at around 5 a.m., authorities said.

According to police, a 60-year-old man was sleeping on a bench when the two suspects woke him up.

The suspects asked for his wallet and began to punched him when he refused.

They also stole an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the station, cops said.

The victim traveled to another station before calling 911. He was transported to an area hospital to be treated for a laceration to his face.

That's why the MTA J Leiber, Mayor Adams and Governor Hochul should be fired. Crime is up up up. Stop the damn lies. Fearlessness and lawlessness rules the Democratic way.
