Samoyed's Adorable Pouting Over Short Car Ride Captivates Hearts

A cute Samoyed dog really wanted to go for a ride in the car, and when he did, and it was cut short, his reaction had everyone giggling.

On October 8, 2024, TikTok user Alexandra (@alexandralynncap) shared a video of her dog and partner and the silly antics the cute Samoyed puppy tries. Take a look!

In a video that's less than a minute long, we meet Oscar, a beautiful white, fluffy Samoyed who really loves going for rides in the car.

"When your Samoyed goes for a car ride that isn't quite long enough for his liking..." the text on the screen reads as we follow Oscar's dad—who is holding the camera—down the stairs and into his garage.

"Oscar," Dad calls out after opening the door to the garage. And it doesn't take long to see where Oscar is. The fluffy white dog is sitting in the back of the car with the door open.

And he really does not want to move.

"Oscar," dad says more sternly. But the funny dog just blinks. He doesn't move and it doesn't look like he has any intention to get out of the car.

When dad walks to the car, Oscar walks to sit in the front two seats so dad can't easily grab him and encourage him out.

And when we get a better look at Oscar when dad goes close t him with his phone, it's probably just a matter of time before Oscar gets what he wants because he has the sweetest face.

"Oscar loves his car rides," the video's caption reads. And in the comment section, people were very much on team Oscar.

One wrote, "You get back in that car right now. The baby needs more ride time."

Another shared, "That is hilarious."

Someone else added, "Look at that face."

And another shared, "My Schnauzer looooves his car rides too. And he isn’t happy if they are short rides."

One shared, "Just a few laps around the neighborhood, Dad."

Another joked, "Or they jump in when you’re not looking, so you drive them around the neighborhood."

Samoyeds Typically Have Really Fun Personalities

According to the American Kennel Club, smaoyeds are beautiful dogs thanks to their white fur and cute faces. They're also really happy and friendly.

The words the club uses to describe this breed include "friendly," "gentle," and "adaptable." Samoyeds are also known for being "extremely" loyal to their family and love having a job while maintaining some independence.

"These are smart, social, mischievous dogs who demand love and attention," the American Kennel Club shares.

"Sammies need structure in training. Teach them what's expected of them early, and practice it with them often."

And, according to Oscar, they love car rides too, but only if they're long enough.
