Several individuals and organizations were honored for their contributions to the community  Tuesday at the Huntington Town Board meeting.

    Recognized for their contributions were:

    The Huntington Manor Fire Department

The Town Board thanked members of the Huntington Manor Fire Department and Huntington Community First Aid Squad for their response to a huge industrial fire on Sept. 27 in Huntington Station.  Members of the department, along with firefighters from about 15 other companies, as well as town employees, worked together to respond to the fire at Four-Way Pallet Corp. on East Second Street.
