It’s an incredibly important week for the Indianapolis Colts.
On Sunday, they will play their divisional rival, the Tennessee Titans, in a game they cannot afford to lose. At the same time, they will once again be shorthanded, with a litany of injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Beyond that side of the ball, it was reported on Wednesday that wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr would miss some games with a nagging back injury; combine that with the questions about if Anthony Richardson will be at 100% should he play, as well as with the chance that Jonathan Taylor will miss another game with a high ankle sprain, and it’s a tough beat for a Colts team that desperately needs to get a win against a divisional opponent.
Dropping to 0-3 against their fellow AFC South teams would be a crushing blow, and with a November gauntlet schedule-wise coming up, things could start to get desperate. We’ve already seen the Colts turn cornerback Dallis Flowers into a scapegoat and cut him. Could more moves be on the way? After this Sunday, we might just find out.
