Single Dads, Share With Us A "Hard Truth" You Had To Learn About Parenthood

Parenthood is a difficult journey, perhaps even more so as a single parent. That said, I'm sure there are difficult lessons and truths you learn along the way, especially from those whose perspectives we rarely hear from. So, if you're a single dad, what's a "hard truth" you learned about parenthood that no one really knows or talks about?

Maybe you have a daughter, and you realized just how difficult and chaotic it is to style hair. It took you many hours and pausing and unpausing videos to learn how to do a simple braid — better yet a French one.

Maybe you've found that people treat you differently than other parents, such as at PTA meetings or other school events.

Or maybe you've found it extremely hard not to have someone else to share the struggles — and joys — of parenting.
