Patrick Henry pitcher Hieber commits to Ohio State baseball

HAMLER, Ohio — Patrick Henry junior pitcher Mack Hieber has committed to Ohio State.

The 6-foot-6 right-hander went 8-1 with a 1.13 ERA last season, setting a program record with 93 strikeouts while walking 13.

Prep Baseball Report named Hieber the Division 4 state co-pitcher of the year, and he was named the Northwest District Division IV player of the year.

Hieber is ranked 25th overall in Ohio in the Class of 2026 by Prep Baseball Report. His fastball has been clocked at 91 MPH.
