Taylor’s husband, Cameron Grigg, announced her death on social media last week. She was 25 years old.
“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age,” he wrote on Instagram, along with a collection of photos of the two together throughout the years.
“This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.”
Cameron also revealed that the family was planning to donate his late wife’s organs to people in need.
“The truth is, I’m not faking a smile like I’ve done in the past for the camera,” she said, revealing she “got sick” shortly after tying the knot Cameron in August 2023.
Taylor said she had been suffering from an undisclosed illness throughout their marriage.
“I barely found out what was wrong with me, so I was just struggling that whole time feeling like I was going to die,” she explained.
“It just feels like I have to fight for life, to live every single day. And that’s hard on somebody and obviously that shows when I’m filming,” Taylor added.
She honored the special day with a video montage of their wedding ceremony. “Happy one year to us. I love you Cameron!! 💛,” she captioned the post on Instagram
