Tents are gone just in time for the rains to start and the homeless will not have much shelter. They’ll be sick from exposure. There are not enough shelter beds or affordable housing is nowhere being built fast enough. We have lots of empty office buildings sitting empty that could be shelter space if the developers would agree to turn them into some kind of shelter/ housing but they’d rather take a tax write off than help “those” people”!
