Congressman Kildee Mourns the Passing of Ethel Kennedy

Flint, MI – Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-08) released a heartfelt statement following the death of Ethel Kennedy, renowned social justice advocate and widow of Senator Robert F. Kennedy.

“I’m saddened by the passing of Ethel Kennedy,” Kildee said, reflecting on her enduring legacy. “As a social justice advocate and defender of human rights, Ethel dedicated her life to fostering a more just and peaceful world. Kildee noted the deep connection between his family and the Kennedys, recalling Ethel’s personal kindness in reaching out during a difficult time. “I’ll never forget the call that Ethel made to my mother, Margaret, on the day that my father passed away. Our entire family was touched by Ethel’s warmth and care.”
