New York Jets edge rusher Haason Reddick's holdout saw a major turn on Thursday night as his representation CAA has parted ways with the talented pass rusher.

Reddick has been holding out since mandatory minicamp when he didn't appear, which caused him to lose a $250,000 workout bonus and he's lost millions more since he has yet to report to the Jets. His $14.5 million salary for the season has taken a significant hit with the fines he has incurred, which have grown to over $5 million .

The Jets made a major miscalculation by trading for Reddick and it will cost them at least a third-round pick in 2026 and in turn, chose to let edge rusher Bryce Huff walk.

What does this change in representation mean? Well, that could be a number of things. The likely answer is that CAA didn't want to be the representatives tagged with orchestrating the holdout. Could it also mean a return to the field for Reddick with new representation?

This will continue to be a story worth keeping an eye on because of it's unique nature and how Reddick can make an impact on this Jets team.
