Travis Kelce’s Ex Kayla Nicole Makes Bold Declaration About Taylor Swift Fans

Kayla Nicole , the ex-girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce , opened up about her experience with Taylor Swift’s fans during a recent podcast appearance.

The NFL star dated Nicole prior to his relationship with the pop superstar, which began in mid-2023. During an episode of Angel Reese’s Unapologetically Angel podcast that was released on Thursday, Oct. 10, Nicole said she has been targeted by negative comments from Swifties over the course of Kelce’s relationship with the Eras touring artist.

“Do you think that, because of who he started to date, the negativity from her fan club or her fans has affected you?” Reese, 22, asked the sports journalist in a video clip that her podcast later shared on Instagram .

“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos doesn’t impact me,” Nicole responded, adding that the “hate” continues “even to this day.”

“I think that there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people. And it’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash,” she said.

Nicole and the professional basketball star spoke generally about public relationships in a separate video also shared on Instagram . In the clip, Nicole said that they are “living in this weird time where people feel entitled to know everything about you and your personal life, and your professional life, and it’s really nobody’s business.”

“Like, if you choose to share, you choose to share,” she added.

Prior to his relationship with Swift, Kelce dated Nicole starting in 2017. The two were together on and off for five years, according to People .

The Grotesquerie actor and “Cruel Summer” songstress took their relationship public last fall when Swift, 34, began attending Chiefs games in support of the star tight end. In the year that followed, Kelce also began popping up at Swift’s concerts as she traveled internationally with her popular Eras Tour .
