George Kittle made NFL history on Thursday Night Football, and he only needed one catch to do it.

The San Francisco 49ers tight end entered the NFC West clash with the Seattle Seahawks needing only one receiving yard to reach 6,500.

That yard promptly came on an seven-yard reception in the second quarter.

By achieving that feat in 103 games, Kittle tied Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow for the third-fewest amount of games by a tight end to reach the 6,500-yard mark in NFL history.

That latest achievement will not have been in the forefront of Kittle's mind, with the sole focus in the 49er locker room getting back to 3-3 by continuing stretching their winning streak over their division rivals to six games (including postseason).

But this latest addition to his resume serves to underline Kittle's credentials for entering Canton when his career is all said and done.
