Aubrey Plaza Turns Heads With Sideline Actions at Liberty-Lynx Finals Game 1

There were a lot of eyes on the WNBA Thursday night during Game 1 of the WNBA Finals between the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx, but one of the things that stirred the biggest fan reactions was something that took place off of the court.

Midway through the fourth quarter, beloved actress Aubrey Plaza was shown on the big screen sitting courtside for the game. You can't say that Plaza was exactly locked into the action, though...

Instead, Plaza was seen reading a book. Eventually, she looked up to the jumbotron and saw that she was on camera and had a "You caught me" look before appearing annoyed that she was being watched.

If you are familiar with Plaza, you know that this was likely all staged as a joke, since the movie star most famous for her work in Parks and Recreation is a big WNBA fan. However, it is a funny sidebar to an intense Finals game.

This isn't the first time that Plaza has made news courtside during a WNBA game, either. Earlier this year at the WNBA All-Star game, Plaza was seen sitting courtside and sporting some crutches. The ABC telecast revealed that Plaza had torn her ACL while playing a game of "knock-out" at the Phoenix Mercury facilities the day prior.

So instead of knock-out, Plaza chose to read a book this time. Who can blame her?
