Sure there have been some bright spots during each game but the Invaders have lacked consistency.Jake Manetti, West Scranton coach says, “ We feel like we're starting to get to get better now especially you know offensively we're starting to figure some things out. So you know still have some more to do in the run game. But you know for the most part it's been it's been a lot with the experience and what we figure now you know we have a couple of weeks on our about these guys have 6 or 7 starts under their belt now where we should start seeing some things out. “Caiden Berardi, West Scranton Senior added, “ Definitely not seeing us 0-7 I mean, sure, we make a couple mistakes, but I mean, that's a football. I mean, mistakes because you lose. If you don't make mistakes, you get wins. So, I mean, just cutting down those mistakes and just working hard. “Shamier Lyons, West Scranton Senior says , “Coach Manetti pushes us. He tells us we're still there. Even after the game, when we lose, he tells us that we were right there.It's a couple penalties right there that are seeing us up right there, away from the win.100%. I think we just clean up the couple penalties we have. I think we're right there with wins. “Dunmore returned just 3 starters from their district championship team and have looked like a young team in the first four weeks. But with hard work the Bucks have reeled off 3 straight wins and it started with the running game.Kevin McHale, Dunmore Coach says, “Our kids are you know, I have to say, from the time we were 0-4 they remained enthusiastic and, they're still getting after the practice. So we're really proud of that. We won the last three, and we're looking in just one game at a time. Just get a little better each day. “Ide asks, what's going right for your team right now?Gabe Franek, Dunmore Senior answers , “Just everybody's communicating. We're all being aggressive every play, and we're practicing like nobody else.Ide asks, It looks like you're able to run the ball better now, the last three weeks than you were in the first four weeks. What's changed?Franek responds, “You know, our linemen just didn't put a lot of work in in the offseason.And, like, they're better conditioned. “This is one of the oldest rivalries in the Lackawanna Football Conference, dating back to the 1950s. This will be the 74th meeting between Dunmore and West Scranton. For the bucks, they're trying to secure the second seed in the upcoming district two Double-A playoffs for West Scranton. They're trying to secure a spot in 5A.Berardi says , “ Dunmore has a great, great offense. Really good defense. I mean, they got that wing-t signature. So, I mean, just reading your keys, working hard, just, not getting all fooled around with anything they do.Jack McNeff, Dunmore Senior added, “We know that they're they're a good team. No matter the record. They're going to come to play. They're always ready. They're always pumped up against us. So they're a good team.
