Clemson continues to dominate the ACC.
It couldn’t do anything against Georgia to open the season, the offense opened it up right after the 34-3 drubbing, blasted App State 66-20, and then went 3-0 in the ACC winning all three by double-digits.
It’ll take something special to beat this bunch, especially in Death Valley with Virginia and Louisville making the trip over the next two weeks.
Wake Forest perked up and might have saved its season with a stunning win at NC State.
It lost three straight - two of them close by a total of five points - but it’s uh-oh time with four road games in the next five after dealing with the rolling Tigers.

It’s been a balanced attack over the last two weeks, and it starts with an offensive line that has to generate a push to get the ground game going.
Stanford was able to do it with 236 yards on 44 carries, and Appalachian State and Georgia also ran for over five yards per carry. Wake Forest averaged well over five yards per carry over the last two games.

Wake Forest has enough to the offense to at least make this interesting for a little while, but Clemson will break through in the second quarter and take off from there.
Clemson will be a wee bit off after the Florida State game, but Wake Forest won’t be able to take advantage of any of its opportunities.
