Tiny 3-Pound Chihuahua Is Searching For Family

(MA) Get ready to meet a tiny and adorable pup who could literally fit in your pocket, assuming you have fairly large pockets of course. Gonzo is a Chihuahua mix pup with the cutest ears that are too big for his tiny body. This puppy recently came into Sandy Paws Rescue's care through their Southern shelter partner.

Gonzo came into rescue care with an older and, if you can believe it, smaller female, but the rescue isn't sure if they are related. Due to Gonzo's young age, they are not considered bonded and can be adopted separately. At this time his sister's profile was not listed on Wagtopia, but I will write about her if and when it becomes available. In the meantime though, Gonzo is ready and waiting for you!

    More Information Gonzo

Gonzo is a young Chihuahua mix pup who is 3 months and two weeks old. He is a itty bitty baby who weighs approximately 3 pounds. Based on his pictures, Gonzo has a short coat length which is mostly tan and brown but has some white and black in it. He is up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered at the time of his adoption.

According to Sweet Paws Rescue, Gonzo is a "small fry with a big personality". It may come as no surprise that he enjoys sitting on laps and cuddling with his humans. In his foster home he has gotten along great with dogs and children, and his profile also lists him as doing okay with cats. As he is still so young, any potential adopters should be ready to train him and teach proper pup manners.

    How Can You Help Gonzo?

If you are interested in adopting Gonzo please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. More information on the adoption process with Sweet Paws Rescue can be found here. He is available for adoption to anyone living in MA, RI, CT, NH, or VT.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Sweet Paws Rescue can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Gonzo's Wagtopia profile: www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2185948&name=Gonzo

I would have considered. But think the place is to far. Don't even know where it located.
