Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have generously donated $1million to Feeding America following the devastating impact of Hurricanes Helene and Milton .

The couple made the donation as Hurricane Milton hit Florida on Wednesday night as a Category 3 storm, with winds surpassing 100mph . Blake and Ryan's donation comes after their close friend Taylor Swift donated $5million to the same cause.

Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, the CEO of Feeding America, praised Blake and Ryan for their significant contribution towards aiding those affected "rebuild and recover" from the hurricanes which caused widespread destruction across the south-eastern states.

"We thank Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for donating $1million to our disaster relief fund for Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Their longtime support of Feeding America in times of crisis has helped our network on the ground before, during and after disasters," she shared in a heartfelt statement on X.

Claire said the funds will be crucial in providing necessities such as water, ready-to-eat meals, and supplies to communities struggling with immense loss and the daunting task of recovery.

In another show of celebrity kindness, country music icon Dolly Parton pledged $1million to hurricane relief efforts, while her business ventures, including the much-loved Dollywood theme park, mirrored her generosity by matching the donation to the Mountain Ways Foundation.

Country singer Morgan Wallen has made a hefty contribution of $500,000 through his charitable foundation to aid the victims of Hurricane Helene in East Tennessee and beyond. In a show of unity, Keith Urban, Luke Combs, and Sheryl Crow are joining forces for the upcoming Concert For Carolina, committing "all proceeds to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts in the Carolina region".

Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton have caused devastation across Southeast America. So far, 14 people have been killed in the devastation left by Milton and more than 200 killed by Helene.

Hurricane Helene hit last weekend, with the death toll rising to 228 and relief costs expected to be more than $30billion. Just days later, Hurricane Milton hit. The Category three hurricane made landfall in Florida on Wednesday night.
