Meghan Markle finds it 'ridiculous' that Prince Harry wants to reunite with former friends

Prince Harry is hoping to reunite with some old friends , but a source has claimed Meghan Markle isn't happy.

The couple have formed a number of close friendships over the years, but also become estranged from some pals. Meghan and Harry were once close to Victoria and David Beckham , but this relationship has turned sour in recent years.

It's believed the relationship breakdown happened after Meghan and Harry left the Royal Family. However, a source has claimed Harry wants to fix his relationship with the Beckhams in the hopes it will help him reunite with his estranged brother Prince William.

Harry and William have not spoken in years, with the Duke of Sussex making a number of explosive allegations about his brother in his bombshell memoir, Spare. William is still close with David and Victoria and the source suggested Harry hopes they can help him fix things with his brother.

Speaking to Closer Magazine, the source said: "Meghan feels it's ridiculous to even care what the Beckhams think. Instead, she has her sights set on making friendships with much more powerful people, like Kamala Harris."

The source added: "As far as she’s concerned, it’s beneath them to be begging the Beckhams for approval. But Harry knows how much William values David’s friendship, and his hope is that getting David’s seal of approval could help soften things with his brother."

A source previously claimed Victoria was never a fan of Meghan as they told The Daily Mail : "The truth is that Victoria never really liked Meghan much. She was friendly and welcoming to her but is not bothered about staying in touch."

The source added: "Both David and Victoria put great importance on family and would never, ever turn on their relations the way that Harry and Meghan did."

David has maintained a close relationship with William and his father King Charles. The former soccer player was even recently spotted laughing and joking with William at a charity event. William and David met up to mark the end of the London Air Ambulance Charity's 'Up Against Time' appeal together.
