New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers has not been able to practice for more than two weeks because of a concussion, but he seems to be having a great time off the field.

Nabers faced some criticism after photos and videos surfaced that showed he attended the Travis Scott concert on Wednesday night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Be aware that the video contains some inappropriate language:

Nabers was all smiles, which is a good sign for a player who left with a concussion late in Week 4 and has not played since. Players are often able to clear concussion protocol after missing one game, but Nabers sat out last week and still has not practiced leading up to Sunday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Many fans wondered why Nabers would be at a loud concert if he is still experiencing concussion symptoms. As Giants reporter Art Stapleton noted, however, Nabers has almost certainly advanced beyond the point in concussion protocol where his symptoms would be worsened by something like attending a concert.

If anything, Nabers’ decision to attend a concert is a good indication that he is feeling much better.

Nabers, the No. 6 overall pick in this year’s draft, has 35 catches for 386 yards and 3 touchdowns through four games. He is by far the Giants’ most explosive player, so they may need him against a Bengals offense that has been on fire over the last three weeks.
