Kamala Harris Taunts ‘Weak’ Trump At Rally For Refusing To Debate As Crowd Jeers

Vice President Kamala Harris taunted former President Donald Trump for refusing to debate her, calling it a “weak move” to an approving rally crowd.

Trump and VP Harris met for the first time for the ABC News debate on September 10, which was near-universally judged to be an overwhelming victory for Harris and a “disaster” for Trump — except by Trump.

Since then, Trump has waffled on a second debate with Harris before settling on not doing one. His latest refusal comes after Fox News offered to have Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum host one.

VP Harris held a rally in Phoenix Thursday night before a raucous crowd at the same time former President Barack Obama was headlining a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During that rally, Harris mocked Trump for refusing to debate to a jeering crowd:

VP KAMALA HARRIS: On moving forward. Let me say that Arizona, look, we have just 26 days until Election Day, 26 days, and we are nearing the homestretch. And this will be a very tight race until the very end. And we are the underdog. We are the underdog. So so we have some hard work ahead of us, but we like hard work! Hard work is good work! And with your help, in 26 days, we will win!

And y’all might have seen y’all might have seen that just last night, Donald Trump officially ruled out any more debates.

    CROWD: (JEERS AND BOOS)

VP KAMALA HARRIS: Now, I think it’s a disservice to the voters. I also think it’s a pretty weak move!

    CROWD: (CHEERS AND SHOUTING)

VP KAMALA HARRIS: But even if he will not debate, the contrast in this election is already clear.

This election is about two very different visions, two very different visions for our nation. One is focused on the past. The other ours focused on the future.

Including being focused on the issues that matter most to working families across America.
