    Two Jackson Students Take Teacher's Car Keys, Crash the Car

    Two students at Jim Hill High School were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries today, following a crash in a teacher's stolen vehicle.

    On Thursday, October 10th, 2024, the unidentified students took an opportunity to take a teacher's keys and left campus with the vehicle. At approximately 11:15 a.m., the students were involved in a crash that took place on Interstate 220 South near Watkins Drive.

    According to Jackson Police Department, one of the students was ejected from the car in the crash. Both students were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

    The investigation into the case is ongoing. At present, charges have not been filed.

    They need to be charged because they know better... They stole the teachers keys and wrecked their car... This incident is a felony all day or should I say felonies.
