Jorge Pickett, 34, died after striking another vehicle at West Saucon Valley Circle and Center Valley Parkway on Friday, Oct. 4, according to authorities. He died at St. Luke's University Hospital soon after the crash.

Pickett was born in Camden, New Jersey, the obituary states. He was also working as a supervisor at Old Dominion Trucking Company.

He is survived by his wife, Lauren; two children, Caleb and Emma Rae; mother, Maralyn; sister, Nicole; and grandparents Lucy and Eugenio Vazquez and Margaret Filler, according to his obituary from Herron Funeral Homes.

"In an instant, we lost someone who meant so much to all of us, and words cannot describe the depth of our sorrow," Nicole Pickett said in a GoFundMe campaign created for the family.

The family lost Jorge's father, George Pickett, in May, the campaign page states.

"Enduring loss after loss has been an unimaginable burden, and finding healing and peace has been one of our greatest challenges," according to the campaign page.

The campaign has raised $9,049 of its $15,000 goal as of Thursday, Oct. 10.

A funeral service will be held at Herron Funeral Homes, located at 458 Center Street, Bethlehem, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, according to the obituary. The burial will take place at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

More information on the funeral can be found here.
