Boy, 13, stabbed in back in Brooklyn; attacker sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed in the back Thursday afternoon in Brooklyn.

It happened at around 3:45 p.m. on Roosevelt Place off Herkimer Street in Ocean Hill, authorities said.

According to sources, the boy and the attacker both attend Uncommon Ocean Hill Middle School.

The victim and his attacker may have gotten into a dispute before the stabbing, the sources said.

The boy remains in stable condition.

The attacker remains at large and the investigation is ongoing.
