Liam Gallagher has announced that he and his brother Noel won’t be doing any joint interviews for Oasis ’ 2025 reunion because they don’t want to answer “intrusive questions” and have the media try to “pick holes in our relationship.”

Liam tweeted the revelation on Thursday, October 10th, while replying to a user who suggested that fans should respect the idea of the Gallagher brothers’ relationship being more important than the band itself — and acknowledge the harmful role the media played in their tensions. In response, Liam wrote “RESPEK.”

In another reply, Liam elaborated, “We don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship.” While responding to another tweet inquiring about an interview, Liam said the brothers “Can’t be arsed.” And when someone asked whether there would be a press conference, he wrote, “They ain’t getting 1.”

Indeed, Liam does seem to have a much healthier relationship with his older brother, who he once described as a “potato” who damaged the Oasis brand. When asked by one Twitter user if Noel was still a potato, Liam wrote, “No he is bloody well not i won’t have a bad word said about that gorgeous talented young man.”

In another tweet, Liam confirmed that the brothers’ animosity is over. “Peace has prevailed, he’s the man,” he wrote. “I can’t wait to be on stage with him blowing him kisses in between each song.”

Oasis will perform for the first time since 2009 next year for shows in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Mexico, and the US . Additional dates are expected to be announced for cities across Asia and South America. Get tickets here.
