A Wall Street Journal poll of seven swing states shows Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump still neck and neck with 25 days remaining until Election Day and early voting already underway in some states.

The poll , released Friday morning, shows Trump slightly ahead in Nevada, 47 percent to 42 percent. In the other six states, the race is essentially tied, with the two candidates separated by 2 points or less: Harris is ahead by 1 or 2 points in Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia, while Trump holds 1-point edges in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

The poll’s margin of error for each state was plus or minus 5 percentage points. In each of the swing states, 600 registered voters were surveyed between Sept. 28 and Oct. 8, and the poll included third-party candidates in states where they will be on the ballot.

Across all the swing-state voters surveyed, Trump leads Harris 46 percent to 45 percent. Ninety-three percent of both Democrats and Republicans polled said they would vote for their party’s nominee. And independent voters were split evenly between the two, with 40 percent for Harris and 39 percent for Trump, further emphasizing the closeness of the race and its partisan divide.

Recent polling from The New York Times showed Harris ahead 48 percent to 45 percent in Pennsylvania, though still within the poll’s plus or minus 3.8 percent margin of error. And a Cook Political Report poll of swing state voters also had Harris with a very slight 1-point edge in the state as well. Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral college votes make it a key state to securing a victory in November.

Other polling shows Trump with a lead in Arizona. In a recent Times poll , Trump led 47 percent to 42 percent, which marked a flip from its previous polling . That poll had a plus or minus 4.4 percent margin of error.

The Journal’s poll also asked questions about which of the candidates was most fit to lead on certain issues.

Asked who would be “best able” to handle the economy, which was the top issue of the voters surveyed, Trump led Harris in each of the states, and 50 percent to 40 percent overall. Those surveyed also trusted Trump most on the issues of inflation and immigration. Harris was most trusted, 51 percent to 35 percent, on abortion.
