Sioux City, Iowa – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has established a temporary storage site for manufactured housing units designated for flood victims in Sioux City. The facility is located east of Green Valley Golf Course, where FEMA is storing the units and other supplies intended for communities in northwest Iowa, including Hawarden and Spencer, which were impacted by the severe flooding in June.

The property has been leased for one year and serves as a regional storage depot. The site functions as a warehouse to hold essential supplies and temporary housing units that will be deployed as needed to support ongoing relief efforts.

To protect the units from theft or vandalism, FEMA has stationed security personnel on-site to monitor the property and ensure its safety.
