The Enid Police Department made a statement regarding the effects and consequences of impaired driving. Driving under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, opioids, methamphetamines or any impairing drug prescribed over the counter can lead to terrible consequences. Driving while impaired puts you and others in harm’s way. In a 2020 study, 56% of drivers involved in a car crash tested positive for at least one of the aforementioned substances.
