"Often where one crime is committed, several others are discovered..."

That's what Sheriff Don Reynolds said following the arrest of two after a high speed chase.

Monday night, Oct. 7, 2024 around 9:40pm, Laurens County Deputies tried to pull over a vehicle that ran a stop sign, which almost hit another vehicle, at Highway 14 and Hunts Bridge Road. A high speed chase ensued, during which a passenger in the suspect vehicle shot at Deputies.

According to the Sheriff's Office "Measures were taken to disable the subject vehicle" near Narnie Road, where the driver and passenger were taken into custody.
