Kyle Richards will always be in Kim Richards’ corner.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star spoke to Page Six exclusively at Us Weekly’s Reality Stars of the Year event in Los Angeles on Thursday about how she is supporting her older sister after her relapse .
“You know, we are a family , [so] when something’s going on with one of us, we all sort of stick together and circle around each other and try to be there and lift each other up,” she said.
As a result, she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, which is the legal involuntary psychiatric hospitalization of an adult experiencing a mental health crisis, for 72 hours, per TMZ.
After the episode, Kyle reportedly let Kim move into one of her Los Angeles homes before deciding to take more of a tough-love approach to the situation.
Kyle reportedly told authorities she did not want Kim in the house, as the former reality star had been cut off from her family in hopes of getting her sober.
The iconic “Housewife” was later seen visiting an LA courthouse amid reports she officially filed to evict her sister from the property.
It’s unclear whether Kim is still living in Kyle’s home.
They alleged her “reliance on alcohol has been an ongoing source of conflict” for her and the Hilton-Richards family, particularly Kyle, who is the “worrier” of the group.
“The family are very private about details, but from the little they’ve said, it’s clear they’ve reached another breaking point with her,” a source told the outlet, emphasizing that “this has happened before.”
Kim’s relatives were reportedly “bankrolling” the struggling star’s lifestyle and struggled knowing if they were “helping” or “enabling” her.
“She has the biggest heart,” the insider said of Kyle. “She loves her sister so much, and always will, but she doesn’t know what else to do.”
