Travis Kelce's Ex Kayla Nicole Addresses Online Hate She Received Amid His Current Relationship, Reveals Where They Currently Stand

Kayla Nicole opened up about her high-profile ex Travis Kelce .

The sports commenter and the NFL star split up in 2022 after dating for five years. Travis of course went on to date Taylor Swift .

In a new interview, Kayla addressed some of the hate that she has received online after the new couple went public.

She also revealed where she stands with Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs WAGs that she got close to while they were together.

“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos didn’t impact me, it does. Even to this day,” Kayla admitted while on the Unapologetically Angel podcast, via People .

She continued, saying, “You can go to my most recent post and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career.”

Kayla said that she wasn’t sure what sparked the backlash exactly, simply attributing it to her ex’s celebrity status.

“I think that there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people, and it’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash,” she said.

As for where she stands with Travis now, Kayla made it clear that they are civil together.

“We’ve seen each other in public spaces but I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy. So we just keep it moving,” she explained. Instead of chatting, she said that they exchange head nods.

Her relationship with the wives and girlfriends of Travis ‘ teammates has also changed.

“We’re cool. We are not as cool as we were … before,” she explained.
