Malik Nabers has quickly taken the NFL by storm. After being drafted No. 6 overall by the New York Giants, it was assumed Nabers would be WR1 for the club.

The LSU product has been just that. With four games under his belt, Nabers has caught 35 passes for 386 yards and three touchdowns. He's been a crucial piece in the Giants' offense, making life much easier for quarterback Daniel Jones.

However, late in the Giants' Week 4 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Nabers suffered a concussion.

This was a brutal blow for New York, as Nabers is averaging 96.5 receiving yards per contest. He missed the team's Week 5 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

On Wednesday, Nabers was seen at a Travis Scott concert, having a good time. Giants head coach Brian Daboll commented on the matter, though he didn't give much substance.

"I'll keep that all in-house," Daboll explained.

While he commented on Nabers attending the concert, he also ruled the star wide receiver out for a second-straight game. The NFL's reception leaders will miss the team's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The injury designation comes after Daboll claimed Nabers is "making progress," which was an encouraging update.

Having gotten passed the original concussion symptoms, the next step to a return to the gridiron involves physical activity, so he's moved on to the next stage of ramping up to return to game action.

There's no need for the Giants to jeopardize Nabers' health. At 21-years-old, the wide receiver is a building block for the club and will be essential to their future offensive plans.
