You can accept the Bounty from any Recruitment Centre, though depending on where you’re at in the game, Martira’s will be the easiest to access, which you’ll find in Thoroughfare Square. The New King of the Imps Bounty requests that you slay the Goborn King in the Imp’s Den to the east of Martira, and accepting the Bounty will add the Imp’s Den to your world map so you can travel there in the Gauntlet Runner. You can buy the following information about the Imp’s Den and the Goborn King from an informant:“At first glance, it appears to be an ordinary forest, but journey in deeper and you’ll find yourself in the Goborn haven. Those creatures are clever enough to understand the strength that comes with numbers. A single goborn is easily dispatched, but a horde of them is trouble. If you’ve got business with the Goborn King who runs the horde of ‘em, you’re going to want to take out the Goborns in black cloth. No weaknesses to speak of, but they love a good nap, and you can find some items to make ‘em drowsy at general stores around town. That’s how you fight ‘em. You may already know, but don’t go wielding a staff, yeah? They’ll fly off the handle, can’t even control it. What else… Ah. There are also a lot of giant insects called Vesps in there. Be sure you’re well prepared before venturing to that place.”<h2>How to Complete The New King of the Imps - Quest Walkthrough</h2>To complete The New King of the Imps in Metaphor: ReFantazio, you must travel to the Imp’s Den and defeat the Goborn King. To get to the Imp’s Den, go to the Strategy Room on the Gauntlet Runner, interact with the Round Table, and select the Imp’s Den to the east of Martira. It should be a 1-day ride, so make sure you don’t have any other deadlines you may miss by traveling! If you go into the Imp's Den with a Magic Archetype equipped, such as Mage, the Goborn enemies will freak out and use Frenzy attacks, so consider switching to a Physical Archetype first to save yourself the trouble!Once you’re at the Imp’s Den, you’ll need to defeat six Hexer Goborn Esto enemies. They’re large Goborn mages that wear a black robe, so they’re easy to tell apart from regular Goborn. You’ll find them walking throughout the Imp’s Den, not in any set location. When you’ve defeated six Hexer Goborn Esto, the Goborn King will appear, so make sure to heal up before taking on the final one if you need to. How to Defeat the Goborn King - Battle StrategyGoborn KingLevel Weakness Skills Spoils The Goborn King brings in each type of Goborn enemy to fight alongside him: Hexer, Manhunter, Archer, and regular. Focus on these first so that everyone can then turn their attacks solely on the Goborn King. They’re all easy to defeat, and don’t require anything particular. Once they’re down, focus on the Goborn King. It has a variety of Skills, almost all of them Physical, and has no weaknesses. While the boss has some heavy-hitting moves, most of its attacks can be healed through by using medicine. That said, watch out for its Dark Sword attack, as it can inflict Forget on a party member. Goborn King may also use Matarukaja, which buffs every opponent’s crit rate and evasion, including any Goborn enemies left on the battlefield. It may also use Charge, which powers itself up to do more damage on the next turn. Once the Goborn King has been defeated, it will drop a Scrapmetal Slab weapon, alongside the Imp’s Loincloth, which you need as proof you’ve completed the Bounty. You’ll also get 1,214 EXP, 591 A-EXP, 874 MAG, and 1,630 Reeve.
