Kirk Herbstreit is one of the best analysts and pundits across the football landscape in general. He does incredible work, jumping from NFL coverage on "Thursday Night Football" to ESPN's "College GameDay" on Saturday, calling a college football game afterwards.

Needless to say, Herbstreit is a face of football coverage at both levels. Outside of providing incredible commentary of the game on hand, the personality also adds an entertainment factor to whatever show he is on, giving insight across both leagues.

By giving so much insight across so many teams, Herbstreit is set to catch flack and backlash for speaking about certain teams some type of way. One example is the way Florida State fans attacked Herbstreit following their College Football Playoff snub.

On "Thursday Night Football," Herbstreit was talking about the best NFC teams in the NFL, leaving off two key franchises.

“If I asked you who the best team in the NFC is, not right now but when you look at their roster and their potential, who else besides them [Niners]? Dallas, Green Bay, Tampa?" Herbstreit asked.

During the Amazon broadcast, the analyst didn't give a mention to the Detroit Lions or Minnesota Vikings -- two undefeated clubs in the conference.

The Dallas Cowboys have looked like a shell of themselves from a season go and both Green Bay and Tampa Bay have their early season concerns. While he listed probable playoff teams, not giving Detroit or Minnesota a nod as a contender in the conference is dumbfounding, and led to him being criticized.
