Lazy No-bake cookies - The stovetop cookie recipe you need

I remember as a child making these cookies in school. We'd make them in classroom and then sell them for fundraising, like to raise money for a field trip.

They were so delicious and as I got older, I wish I knew what the recipe was and then I discovered it online.

I adapted it to make it my own and it's absolutely delicious.

    Ingredients

    • 1 3/4 cups of white sugar
    • 3/4 cups of brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 2.5 Tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
    • 3 cups of Quick oats
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup peanut butter
    • Pinch of salt

    Directions

Combine all ingredients except oats in a sauce pan and bring it a boil for 1 minute.

Take sauce pan off the heat and pour in oats.

    Mix well.

Drop 2 Tbsp size balls onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and slightly flatten, being careful not to get burned

You have to work quickly as you do this.

    Let cool.

    Enjoy.

    What do you think?

This is the perfect way to satisfy a sweet tooth. You probably already have all the ingredients in your kitchen.

Have you tried this recipe before?
