SKOKIE, Ill. — Emergency crews rushed to the 4300 block of Howard Street in Skokie after a school bus veered off the road and crashed into a home on Friday afternoon.

At around 2:15 p.m., aerial footage captured the bus lodged on the front lawn of the damaged house. Nearby, another wrecked vehicle was seen being loaded onto a tow truck, with multiple emergency vehicles surrounding the scene.

Details regarding the cause of the crash or whether there were any passengers on board remain unclear. The investigation into the accident is ongoing as officials work to uncover what happened.
