If you purchased Clif Bars in California between April 19, 2014 and March 31, 2023 you are eligible to submit a claim for a cash amount that can be as much as $50.

A recently settled $12 million class action lawsuit against Clif Bar & Company alleged that the company misled consumers by labeling its Clif Bars and Clif Kid ZBars with claims that suggested the products were healthy, despite their high added sugar content.

Proof of purchase is not required to file a claim, but having one can increase the compensation amount. Without proof, compensation is capped at $15, while with proof, you can receive up to $50, depending on the number of bars purchased.

Without proof of purchase, you can receive $5 for up to 30 bars, or $10 for 31 to 60 bars and $15 for more than 60 bars. Those with proof may be eligible for as much as $50.

Claims can be filed online through the settlement website or by mailing a completed claim form to the designated address. All claims must be submitted or postmarked by November 25, 2024.
