La Fiesta On Main Cocina Y Tequila Plans Expansion to Vancouver

According to a recent permit filing, La Fiesta on Main Cocina Y Tequila will soon open in Vancouver at 800 Main Street.

“We are thinking of opening on December 7 ^th , which could be earlier, but that is our goal date. We make our food from scratch and provide agave tequila. This will be our second location,” co-owner Jose Garay told What Now Portland.

“My two partners are my wife and Fernando Aguayo. I’ve been doing this since I was 14 and worked for many restaurants. Over time I came up with my ideas and recipes. I’ve been in the industry for about 20 years, and some of the recipes are my mother’s. Fernando is also a long-time restaurant owner.”

“We have been awarded the “Best Mexican Restaurant” in the West Linn area award for our first location. We also do food and tequila pairings, and have a tequila club. A fun detail about the tequila club is that we put people’s names into the mini barrels!”
