Not all dogs are road trip compatible, and I say this from experience. My pup, a Boxer mix who's usually pretty good at going with the flow, really gets antsy after spending any more time in the car than it takes to go through the Starbucks drive thru. But that just means that I love living vicariously through people who do have dogs who love to go for a long drive, like the the one in the TikTok video below. If you ever need a road trip partner, now you know who to call!

As far as passengers go, this Bulldog is obviously a very good one, but he also brings something to the drive that other dogs don't: Pure musical talent. Take a look:

Recently, the humans who belong to this five year old Bulldog pup named Crowley ( @crowley_crowlo ) shared this absolutely flawless video of their dog singing along to the Imagine Dragons song "Enemy."

Perching his front paws up on the center console, Crowley looks like the coolest dog alive, enjoying a sunny day drive with his dad. And then, when the music really kicks in, he starts singing along, howling his little heart out.

This isn't the only time Crowley has shown off his singing talents, either. This video was inspired by one his parents shared just days before this one where he sang along. to another song by the same band called "Believer." That time around, he howled along to the notes of the songs that sounded like a howl — clearly, he knew it was his time to shine!

Unsurprisingly, Crowley already has a solid fan base. One person commented, "I think Imagine Dragons needs to hire an additional frontman." I could not agree more!

Why Do Some Dogs Howl Along to Music?

While I can definitely say that Crowley's a very talented dog, I do know that he's not the only pup out there who sings along this way (and yes, I do believe they should all join together to form their own band).

However, there's actually a reason that dogs like to do this, and it's not just because that's what you do when a song comes on that you love!

As the American Kennel Club (AKC) points out, it all goes back to their wolf ancestors . When dogs hear a howl (or a sound that they perceive to be a howl, like the way Imagine Dragons were singing), they will usually join in just as they would if it was an actual dog — it's really as simple as that.

Dogs can also differentiate between pitch and tone, so if they sound remarkably on key when they're doing this, that can explain it. They're all such musical geniuses!

More songs from Crowley, please. Is a tour out of the question?
