Warmer weather arrives to kick off the weekend on Long Island.

Saturday will be beautiful with sunshine and highs in the low- to mid-70s. You'll notice more clouds around on Sunday, with highs near 70 degrees. There is the chance for a few light showers midday and at night. Most of the time, it will be dry. Once showers end Monday morning, the weather turns colder with a fall chill and sunshine for much of next week. Be sure to check the western sky low on the horizon this week for Comet C/2023 A3.
