Before Juanita Vanoy filed for divorce from Michael Jordan , there were rumors linking MJ to several women. Because of that, Juanita hired a private investigator to follow her husband around for four years.
According to a report from the New York Post , the PI followed Jordan from Chicago to Florida and back. During his legwork, he discovered that the six-time NBA champion was spotted in public places with at least six different women.
The women in the report were never named. However, during the period when Juanita had MJ stalked, there was rampant gossip that His Airness was fooling around with 1984 Miss America Vanessa Williams. Williams vehemently denied the rumor.
"There's a gigantic rumor that Michael Jordan was going to leave his wife for me, which I find fascinating since I've never met the man," said Williams on Entertainment Tonight via SBJ .
Vanessa was married to Rick Fox
Williams captivated audiences with her beauty and talent, becoming the first Black woman to win the Miss America title and later building a successful career in music and acting.
After her first divorce, Vanessa married NBA star Rick Fox in 1999, and they remained a couple until 2004. Interestingly, the Washington Post reported in 2002 that Mike was 'in love' with Williams. If that was the case, then MJ was dribbling the 'Save the Best for Last' singer while she was married to Fox.
What's even more interesting is that Vanessa's denial of the alleged MJ affair happened in February 1999, or before she became Mrs. Fox on September 26, 1999. If you follow closely, the MJ-Vanessa stories lasted for at least three years, leading to Juanita filing for divorce in 2002.

Mike and Juanita briefly reconciled
The North Carolina product met Juanita in 1985 when he was still an NBA rookie. They hit it off right away and had a relationship. In 1988, she became pregnant with their first child. One year after Jeffrey was born, Mike and Juanita tied the knot in Las Vegas.
"That experience of being a husband and a father provided a balance and a focus away from basketball," said Jordan via Vanity Fair. "I could have gotten myself in trouble, I don't know what kind of trouble, but if I had been single, playing basketball, and making a lot of money, I could have made some wrong decisions."
But less than a decade after their wedding, the marriage was on the rocks. The couple briefly reconciled after Juanita filed for divorce in 2002 but persistent cheating rumors by the GOAT ultimately led to the dissolution of the marriage due to unreconcilable differences in 2006. Whether Vanessa was a party to the breakup of the Jordans remains a mystery.
