Garth Brooks’ Secret Communication Methods and His Nickname Exposed

InTouch Weekly reported on October 8, 2024, one interesting detail about Garth Brooks' sexual assault case that some Alabamians following close to the case may not be aware of.

In the lawsuit filed against Brooks, the accuser, Jane Roe, claims that Brooks used multiple cell phones and different email addresses to communicate with her, often under different names. Jane alleges that Brooks would alert her ahead of time before sending her messages from these alternative accounts.

One specific text exchange included in her lawsuit involves sexually suggestive language. Jane shared a screenshot of a message, though part of her text was redacted. The visible portion read, "And that "huge stick" you carry! Roo-sevelt!!" Brooks responded with, "I’ll take that nickname" and followed up with, "Thank you. I love you," along with several heart emojis.

The lawsuit also states that Roe was initially hired in 1999 to provide hairstyling and makeup services for Trisha Yearwood. Doe claims she continued to work for Yearwood and various other celebrities over the years. In 2017, she began working directly with Brooks, but the alleged sexual abuse started in 2019, two years after she began her role with him.

While Brooks has denied any wrongdoing in his counterclaim, his wife, country star Trisha Yearwood, has so far chosen to remain silent, publicly standing by her husband throughout the ordeal.

This detail about Brooks allegedly using multiple devices and names adds complexity to the ongoing case as the legal battle unfolds.

Roe's compensation request for damages caused by Brooks has not been publicly announced.
