Jennifer Lopez has been deemed an embarrassment as she uploads a sweat-drenched Instagram selfie seemingly aimed at Ben Affleck. The singer, 55, made headlines this week for sharing a throwback photo to Instagram, one taken before she married Ben and posted in the wake of her filing for divorce from her estranged husband.
When The Daily Mail reported Jen as showing “Ben Affleck what he’s missing” in a photo dating back five years, users commented, shading the pop singer and basically calling her pathetic. In August, JLo made global headlines for ending her fourth marriage. She and Affleck tied the knot in 2022, but didn’t even make it to the two-year mark.

The selfie, posted to Jennifer’s JLo Beauty brand’s Instagram, showed the star in a sweaty yellow crop top and tight leggings.
Posing from a workout space, the “Jenny From The Block” hitmaker flaunted her jaw-dropping abs and toned hips as beads of sweat rolled from her skin, also looking fierce as she showed off her defined bone structure. The songstress also stood with a bedazzled personalized tumbler next to her while going nearly makeup-free.
“We can’t think of a better way to kick-off our SANOS week than with some inspo from our powerhouse founder, @JLO,” JLo Beauty wrote. Media outlets, however, quickly picked up on the selfie as being a possible message to actor Ben, whose latest headlines involve him moving out of the $100,000-a-month rental home he’s spent much of the summer in.

Comments came in fast. Mentioning Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner, one user replied: “Mentality of a teenager, quickest way to scare men away. Not making excuses for him, he’s pretty adolescent too. I feel for J Garner, having to put up with that for years.”
Another wrote: “Embarrassing. Holding the phone to take a pic of yourself in the mirror. Grow up.” Over 85 fans upvoted this comment.
Thinking that Lopez is an attention-seeker, a further fan replied: “We get it..55 years old and you look great JLo..I don’t get the selfie addictions of these older adults. Nobody cares.”
Lopez has yet to publicly comment on the split. After months of speculation and barely spending a moment in public with Ben this summer, the singer filed for divorce without a lawyer, although she and Ben have hired power attorney Laura Wasser to handle their divorce.
The former couple is still battling to sell their $68 mansion, having recently accepted an offer only to have the whole thing fall through.
