GH Recaps: Sonny Decided To Confess to Murder!

A lot can happen in a day in Port Charles, so it can be easy to get lost. If you’ve missed anything that happened over the week of Oct. 7, 2024, our General Hospital weekly recaps will help get you back up to speed in no time!

After Sam updated her that neither she nor the PCPD had found the gun she’d tossed yet., Alexis asked her to keep an eye on Kristina so she didn’t do something stupid. Later, Martin told Alexis he had a PI watching Carly to blow up Sonny’s alibi. Carly met Brennan for dinner but Felicia warned she was being tailed and got her out of his room without being spotted. Molly wanted Anna to reopen the investigation and pursue the real killer, Sonny, but the commissioner said it was up to the FBI. Despite Sonny warning her to stand down, Kristina went to Anna’s office but Michael got her out before she could say anything damaging. With no other options, Sonny decided to turn himself in and promised Carly she wouldn’t go down with him. After a bomb threat was called in to the PCPD, it was revealed the box actually contained the gun taken from Sonny’s apartment. With Martin’s evidence about Carly and Brennan, Anna went to Robert to get Alexis’ case dropped but he wanted to wait until Sonny confessed. Anna tried to get Carly to change her statement about being Sonny’s alibi, but she refused. Learning there was evidence clearing Alexis, Dante was torn as to whether or not to tell his father but when Sonny arrived at the PCPD to confess, he spoke up!

Lucky Wasn’t a Match

Lucky reunited with Aiden, who told his father he was gay and Lucky assured him he loved him no matter what. Unfortunately, Liz got the test results and told Lucky he wasn’t a match for Lulu after all. Rocco was upset that his mother was going to die now but Dante assured him they’d find someone. Meanwhile, Lucky went to Bobbie’s where he vented his anger and frustration by tearing the place apart. Joss found him there and he stormed out but when the police arrived, she didn’t report it. Lucky asked Jason for help getting back to Africa but he warned running away wasn’t the right move. As Lucky prayed for guidance, Laura returned and they shared an emotional reunion as Lucky expressed his guilt and Laura begged him to stay and support her now.

Brad Busted Portia!

The hospital was subpoenaed regarding Heather’s medical test results, and Liz tasked Brad with finding out how they were the only ones to make a mistake with her labs. Portia didn’t think it was a big deal, but Liz pointed out it could throw the hospital’s other tests used in court into question. And in the lab, Brad dug around and discovered Portia had done something!

Wiley Met Lucas

Michael and Willow had an awkward reunion with Lucas, but Wiley was unfazed to meet his great-uncle. Later, Maxie found Lucas at Bobbie’s grave and the two caught up. Lucas told Carly about the run-in at Bobbie’s and talking to Brad at the hospital and she offered to get the lab tech fired but Lucas was more concerned about Carly reuniting with Sonny. He then ran into Ava and after some initial awkwardness, they were able to share some memories of Julian and reconnect.

Around Port Charles…

Diane appreciated Robert giving her a heads-up that Holly was back in town. After telling Brennan she knew nothing about Sidwell’s operation, Holly decided to bite the bullet and see Robert. Mac was annoyed Felicia pushed Holly to talk to Robert and was later relieved when his brother insisted he was happy with Diane and not interested in Holly at all. After her diamond buyer fell through, Holly considered Sonny. Tracy advised Violet what to do instead of hitting a classmate, then called Diane to help. But when the attorney arrived at the school. Brook Lynn and Chase had already handled things with the principal and Brook Lynn chided Tracy for going overboard. Brennan summoned Anna and Jason for the scoop on everything that happened with Sidwell. After Jason left, he reminded Anna he wanted the guy to come work for the WSB but she insisted that was never going to happen. Anna then found Jason at the warehouse to inform him that their kiss would never be repeated. Natalia wanted to keep things strictly business with Sonny so he told her whatever happened next was completely up to her. When Kristina stopped by Pozzulo’s, Natalia told her Alison was doing well on tour.
