‘You Can Get Away With Anything!!’ Michael Moore Pushes Biden to Use ‘Full Immunity’ to Enact ‘Bucket List’ in Last 100 Days

Michael Moore encouraged President Joe Biden to pass a “bucket list” in his last 100 days, telling the president he has “full immunity” and doesn’t “answer to anyone.”

In a Saturday post to his Substack , Moore gave Biden a list of 13 things he can get done with his final days in the White House, which includes pardoning Edward Snowden , erasing medical and student debt, and clemency for non-violent drug offenders.

Moore referred to the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on presidential immunity to argue that Biden can essentially pass whatever he wants while still in office. In a split decision, the Supreme Court ruled this year that presidents have immunity for “official” acts taken as president, but not unofficial ones.

Moore wrote:

Some people are now calling you a “lame duck” president — but then it occurred to me today: You’re not done. You’ve still got 100 days left in office! And the Supreme Court has just granted you super powers — AND immunity! You don’t answer to anyone. For the first time in over 50 years, you don’t have to campaign for anything. You are the opposite of lame, Joe. And you are not a duck. You, sir, are the President of the United States of America, and for the next 100 days, you have tremendous power. The only people you have to answer to is us. The people who put you there. You have an extraordinary opportunity to make a whole bunch of things happen. Great things. Important things. With a simple stroke or two of your presidential pen, you can make life better for millions of people in ways you never would’ve dreamed possible. You will leave the White House a hero.

Moore told Biden he can get away with “anything” thanks to the Supreme Court.

“Did I mention — You have full immunity! No kidding! No joke! That’s not hyperbole! You can get away with anything! And what if anything means everything to the people?” he wrote.

Moore’s list includes: officially declaring “the Equal Rights Amendment for Women (E.R.A.) as the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution,” cancel student and medical debt, close Guantanamo Bay, end the trade embargo on Cuba, withdraw support for Israel’s war against Hamas, get Russian President Vladimir Putin to the “negotiating table” to end the invasion of Ukraine, take every prisoner on death row off, ban all spam text messaging, clemency for non-violent drug offenders, and multiple pardons, including for Edward Snowden.

Moore warned Biden that his legacy could end up being the Israel war.

“You’ve got, starting today, 100 days left in the White House,” the filmmaker wrote. “Make ’em count. And for God’s sake, let me say it again: Don’t let the violence that you are funding and allowing against the people of Palestine become what your presidency will be remembered for. I know that is not the legacy you want.”
